Aristotle
Aristotle was a Greek philosopher and scientist from the time of 384 – 322 BC. He was born in the Macedonian city of Stagira, Chalkidice. When Aristotle was just 18, he joined Plato's Academy in Athens and stayed there until the age of 37. His writings covered many, many different subjects. This list covered physics, biology, zoology, metaphysics, logic, ethics, aesthetics, poetry, theater, music, rhetoric, linguistics, politics and government. Some of the things that he is known for are his writings that are a part of his "writing of Diogenes Laertius and others". He also wrote on Rhetoric, Eudemus, philosophy, Alexander and education. Aristotle is considered as “The Philosopher” by many scholastic thinkers.
